Sri Vinod Kongoorpully Mana (Artistic Director)
Sri Vinod Kumar started his vocal training at the age of nine from his father Sri K.P.S Namboodiri who was a Kathakali exponent from Kerala, South India. He received his training for violin under Sri Guruvayoor Narayanan. He belongs to the guru-shishya tradition and has acquired the subtle and advanced knowledge of Carnatic music from his gurus. He has travelled widely since 1995 and performed as a violinist rendering solo performances as well as an accompanist with many leading dancers and musicians in India and and toured USA., UK, Germany, France, Switzerland, Thailand, Bahrain, Dubai, Canada and Nepal. He is an accomplished violinist in Carnatic Music with rigorous exposure to fusion music. He has conducted numerous workshops and master classes during his overseas trips and experimented widely with Fusion music and contemporary dance with various exponents in their fields. Sri Vinod currently teaches Violin in Rhythms Aesthetics Society.
Sri Dileepkumar M.S (Head Percussionist)
Sri Dileepkumar is a Mridangam exponent who has performed all over India. He belongs to the guru-shishya tradition and has learned the nuances of classical mirdangam from Sri. Master Chinnakuttan and the reknowned Sri. Karaikudi R Mani. He has taught basic, intermediate and advanced level Mridangam in many places including Chettinad Vidyashram. He has received many titles in recognition of his talents including the First prize in Mridangam competition at State level. Additionally he has done accompaniment for various artistes including Sri. T N Sheshagopalan, Trichy Sri. J Venkittaram, Guruvayoor Sri. Dorai, Trichy Sri. Ganesh, Smt. Matangy Sathyamoorthy and many other artistes of Kerala and Tamil Nadu for the last 22 years. Sri Dileepkumar M S currently teaches Mridangam at Rhythms Aesthetic Society.
Ms. Kumari Swarna Varsha Gurumoorthy
Kumari Swarna Varsha Gurumoorthy, a student of Smt. Divyasena has been learning Bharatanatyam at the Divyanjali School of Classical Dance, Chennai for 16 years. She performed her arangetram in the year 2000 after which she has performed solo and group recitals along with her teacher touring to Bangkok and places in India. She is a recipient of the scholarship in Bharatanatyam from the Ministry of Culture, India for a period of twoyxv3 years. With over 3 years of teaching experience, Swarna Varsha has assisted her teacher in various activities of the Divyanjali School, apart from undergoing training in the rhythm aspects of Dance from Sri.BP.Haribabu. A “B” Grade Artiste of Doordarshan Kendra, Chennai she also holds a Master’s Degree in Science communication from Department of Media Sciences, Anna University, Chennai.
Sri K Senthilkumar is a Pianist and Keyboardist from Chennai. He received his musical qualifications from Trinity College achieving the 8th Grade in Keyboard, Musical Theory and Piano. He is no stranger to the Indian Music scene, having performed in various orchestras and for many professional recordings in India. He was also an instrumental exponent in Pro Musicals Chennai. He is a versatile exponent of light music, excellent in fusion music with other instruments both Carnatic and Western. Having over a decade of experience, he is a versatile music teacher who teaches both Western and Carnatic Music. He has prepared over 300 students for the Exams conducted by The Royal School of Music, London and Trinity Guild Hall, London as well as Trinity College London, up to 7th Grade whilst teaching at Mozart Music School in Chennai. Sri K Senthilkumar is a friendly and capable teacher who will definitely add value to your child’s musical experience.
Sri Franklin Edison Newton
Sri K Franklin Edison Newton is a Pianist, Keyboardist and Guitarist from Chennai. He received his musical qualifications from Trinity College achieving the 8th Grade in Musical Theory and 5th Grade in Piano. He is no stranger to the Indian Music scene, having performed in various orchestras in India. He was also an instrumental exponent in Pro Musicals Chennai. He is a versatile exponent of light music; excellent in fusion music with other instruments Carnatic and Western as well as composing and playing cinematic scores. He also has a passion for conducting orchestras. Having over a decade of experience, he is a versatile music teacher who teaches both Western and Carnatic Music. He has prepared over 500 students for the Exams conducted by Trinity College London, whilst teaching at Institute of Music Technology in Annanagar. Sri K Franklin Edison Newton co-conducts the Keyboard, Musical Theory with Sri Senthilkumar, and additionally teaches the Guitar at Rhythms Aesthetic Society.
